Summer in the Yukon is something to behold. The glistening midnight sun and fresh air gives us long days and boosts of energy. While we may be known for our cold temperatures in the North, summers are warm and we have many days when a refreshing lake dip feels simply heavenly.
Our summer programs at Shakat Tun are designed for travellers who enjoy spending time in the great outdoors, connecting with nature and learning about First Nations culture. We are excited to host you on our traditional territory!
All of our summer packages include:
Included: Transfer from “Allenville” to Shakat Tun Wilderness Camp – Approximately 10-minute drive with two creek crossings. Accommodation in private cabin (double occupancy), three meals a day, complimentary refreshments and snacks daily, daily evening campfire with storytelling.
Not included: transportation to/from “Allenville”, gratuities, items of a personal nature. Shakat Tun Wilderness Camp is an alcohol free camp. Alcohol is not a part of our culture.
Cultural Program for Groups
Includes: 2 breakfasts, 1 lunch, 2 dinners, refreshments, shared accommodations, trap line tour, drum making workshop, nightly campfire and storytelling.
Note: Add $150 pp for themed scheduled tour dates.

Includes: 2 breakfasts, 1 lunch (or picnic lunch), 2 dinners, private cabin, nightly campfire and storytelling. See additional optional activities below.
