Welcome to Shakat Tun Wilderness Camp. Our camp is located 3 hours from Whitehorse, and 1 hour north of Haines Junction off of the Alaska Highway.
We know that most visitors to Yukon (and Alaska) are on an adventure of a lifetime and are here to explore and experience a lot in the time they have. That’s why we’ve designed our popular 2-night stay to conveniently fit into your travel itinerary on your way up or down the Alaska Highway.
Our programs for independent travellers offer a variety of experiences, of which you can pre-book and customize your own activity day, if you choose to.

Haines Junction to “Allenville”: 65 kms / 41 miles
